no, no, no, once you have the source code opened, people will figure out how to cheat.

I agree this is a great idea. I reviewed a paper which was completely plagiarism. It's a big waste of my time.

I still think they went at it the wrong way.. want to keep illegals out of anywhere? cut off their income. If the law was targeted at businesses that unlawfully hire illegals, then no problem. By targeting the weaker link, it clearly shows that this law is not really trying to do the right thing.. rather make a political statement. The churches, if I am not mistaken, target those that are being held ransom by coyotes and such... those that literally have no where else to go (there's a whole mafia behind this).. You ought to come up with me one day to my church here in Cinti. We have a work with a large number of families that have no options... I would have to ask into it, but there might be someone who is illegal, but the church only loses money with this.. not make money. There's no gov. bailout for this kind of act.

Anyhow, by “US was born out of immigrants”, I am not saying that I favor illegal immigration.. but, think about it... how easy is it to legally migrate to the US? Compare that now to Canada. This act by Arizona is just another fact to add to the rest of sad realities...

I also think AZ law is absurd, because it's not practical and can cause fear among immigrants legally living there. How do we except people to carry their documents with them all the time?

But don't forget there is a serious issue there. It is bigger and complicated than what we think it is. There is no way we can come to a quick conclusions.

What ever you say about research, I hear 20% of the criminals detained in AZ are illegal immigrants. And crime rates is not the only issue.

"US was born out of immigrants" - this is not an valid reason Talmai.First, US has not shut down its avenues for legal immigration. Every year, tens of thousands of people legally gain permanent residency and citizenship here. Second, things have changed since the days when people could just get in to a small ship, cross Atlantic and land in Elise Island to be in US. Now all countries maintain strict borders and US is not an exception. The other day I saw some Hispanic young people talking on CNN. One of them was kept saying that "this is where I lived since I was 2 and I love this country and I want to contribute". Talmai how about we going to INS and tell this and ask for PR here?

People do abuse other people based on race and color and that should be denounced. On the other hand, nobody has a special immunity against breaking laws just because he or she belongs to some "traditionally marginalized minority".

What I observe is, some parties talk in support also have hidden political and religious agendas behind them. There are lots of churches in AZ, harbor illegal immigrants. I'm not sure whether their intention is purely to help those people or and try their best to keep them within their congressions so that they can have a bigger heard.

If they really care about these people, they can demand to deal with the real reasons for the flow of immigration. They can ask to change the economic policies imposed on poor nations which make those nations poorer and weaker.
